The Global Ecosystem-based Adaptation Fund, co-led by IUCN and UNEP, has opened a new small-size grants call supporting innovative approaches that help communities and ecosystems adapt to climate change. The current submission window runs from 28 September to 26 October 2026. The broader funding initiative targets scalable and investable nature-based solutions and is open to organisations including national and international NGOs, community-based organisations, Indigenous Peoples’ organisations, universities, research institutions and private-sector organisations, subject to the call’s eligibility rules. Applicants should use the official Global EbA Fund application portal and review the call guidance before preparing a proposal.
