Urgent Action Fund Asia & Pacific provides rapid-response grants of up to US$5,000 to women and non-binary human-rights defenders, activists and eligible organisations across Asia and the Pacific facing urgent threats, crises or time-sensitive opportunities. Its official programme information states that applications are accepted in any language on any day of the year. Current grant pathways include security and well-being support and resourcing-resilience support, subject to the Fund’s eligibility criteria. Applicants must use a valid ProtonMail account for secure communication and register through the Rapid Response Grantmaking system. The programme does not fund ordinary development-aid projects, regular organisational programmes, operating budgets or bridge funding.
