Maitri International Internship Programme
Job Details
Description
Maitri India runs an international internship programme in which college students generally work full-time from the head office for approximately one semester, around three months. Interns undertake writing and research-oriented projects and can gain direct exposure to work with vulnerable populations. Previous placements described by Maitri include work with adolescent children in Shillong, destitute widows in Vrindavan and communities in New Delhi. Maitri also notes a partnership with the University of Utah’s Hinckley Institute of Politics through which two to three students intern in India each semester. No fixed current application deadline is stated on the official internship page, so candidates should contact Maitri to confirm the next available intake.
