Microsoft has launched a $1 million Community-First Grants programme for nonprofit organisations in King County, Washington. The fund supports projects across civic life; education and workforce development; housing, human services and basic needs; and sustainability and transportation. Eligible applicants must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits located in King County and must not currently receive Microsoft grant funding. Microsoft states that grantees will be selected and notified in November 2026, with another application round planned for spring 2027. This is a geographically restricted opportunity and is not open to India-based NGOs unless they separately meet the stated King County eligibility requirements.
